Philipp Carlsson-Szlezak

Philipp Carlsson-Szlezak is chief economist at The Boston Consulting Group and leads the firm’s Center for Macroeconomics in New York. Prior to his current role, Philipp was a principal in BCG’s Financial Institutions and Public Sector practice areas.

​

Before joining BCG in 2009, Philipp was a project manager at the OECD in Paris, developing strategies to improve country competitiveness. He has a Bachelor’s degree from the London School of Economics and a Ph.D. from the University of Oxford.
