Caryl M. Stern

Caryl M. Stern is President & CEO of the U.S. Fund for UNICEF, serving her mission to put children first.  

 

Stern has traveled to more than 30 countries in support of UNICEF’s work and has spearheaded efforts to help UNICEF aid children affected by disasters, including the 2010 Haiti earthquake, the 2011 East Africa drought, the Ebola Crisis and the current Child Refugee Crisis.

 

Author of I Believe in ZERO: Learning From the World’s Children, Caryl is frequently called upon to speak and/or appear in the media. Caryl currently serves on the Boards of the We Are Family Foundation, the Center for Disaster Philanthropy, Chime for Change and the Advisory Board to the WNBA, as well as the Board of The Container Store.  

 

Named one of “25 Moms We Love” by Working Mother Magazine and “Ten Women to Watch” by JWI, Caryl is married, with 3 sons and 2 grandchildren.
